Acupuncture Denver began humbly, when Jane rented a single treatment room in Capitol Hill with a meager savings account (and no business loans!), in 2003. She had recently returned to Colorado from Savannah, Georgia where she gained valuable clinical experience, but was homesick for the Rocky Mountains. Less than two years after starting the clinic, she was able to move into her own office suite, right here in the Logan Building.
Jane began specializing in fertility after serendipitously meeting Randine Lewis, her mentor, in early 2004. She became one of Randine’s primary interns and quickly sought out every TCM fertility expert she could find in the early years of her specialization. She was among first cohort of practitioners to take the ABORM examination in 2008 and has been an ABORM fellow ever since. She created Fertile Ground Yoga classes in 2005 , where she brought many of her clients together to meditate, move, and support each other as they struggled with infertility and pregnancy loss. To this day, her passion to bring women together inspires her to lead an ongoing free monthly support group for anyone needing support and community.
In 2006, Jane experienced her own pregnancy losses as her personal fertility journey suddenly intersected with her professional life. Inspired by a dear client and following her heart, Jane and her husband Greg began the adoption process in 2007. In 2008, they brought home their first son from Ethiopia.
Merry Reasons joined Acupuncture Denver in 2008 when Jane went on maternity-leave and soon became an integral part of the practice. Merry completed many hours of clinical observation with Jane, interned with Randine Lewis, completed in-depth fertility trainings, and passed the ABORM exam in 2013.
Mally Shaw joined the team in 2013 during Merry’s maternity leave and was also a perfect fit for the clinic. Mally completed weeks of clinical observation at Acupuncture Denver, took all the pre-requisites Jane required to begin treating fertility patients, and passed the ABORM exam in 2016.
We also added a fabulous massage therapist, David Dunn, to our staff in 2018. He keeps us (and our lucky clients who book with him) flexible and de-stressed with his phenomenal bodywork.
Greg Cradick, Jane’s husband, took over as office manager in 2019 and completed his massage training soon after. He completed post-graduate prenatal and fertility massage therapy trainings and is a gifted healer who brings steady, grounded energy to the clinic. He has also kept Jane sane for over 24 years!
Acupuncture Denver is proud to be the “OG” acupuncture fertility clinic in Denver. While many practitioners claim to be experts in this highly specialized field, everyone on our staff has the training, years of experience, and ABORM certification to back it up. However, our amazing clinic wouldn’t exist today the support of the wonderful, beloved clients who taught Jane and her team almost everything they know.
"I am confident that my pregnancy is directly attributable to the treatments and herbs I received from Jane and I can't wait to introduce baby sister to Jane to whom we will always be grateful..."
"I am convinced that if it were not for the change in my lifestyle and the addition of alternative medicine we would still be trying to conceive. Instead I am now the mother of two beautiful children!"
"I know that without Jane's acupuncture treatment before the IUI that day, I would not be pregnant now. Jane is also such a pleasant person and makes it so easy to enjoy acupuncture."
